Use of Bubble CPAP (vs. other CPAP forms) and clinical outcomes:
A systematic review

While bubble CPAP has been adopted at many centres, a comprehensive systematic review comparing its impact on clinical outcomes compared with other CPAP forms had been lacking.

In this systematic review, we compared a number of clinical outcomes from published studies. We found that CPAP failure was lower, and risk of nasal injury was higher with bubble CPAP. However, no differences in bronchopulmonary dysplasia or mortality were found.
